I’ve been playing more golf than usual lately. We’re trying to get out the course at least once a week. It’s really the only way anyone is going to get better. And I’m not trying to completely revamp and reinvent my golf game. I’m just trying to make a few small adjustments.
Out on the back nine this morning I was reminded of the recent James L. Brooks film, How Do You Know. While I can’t wholeheartedly recommend the film, a few ideas and concepts stayed with me. In the movie, Paul Rudd’s character says, “We’re all just one small adjustment away from making our lives work.”
We’re all just one small adjustment from making our lives work.
I love that thought. Not just because it’s cute and pithy, but because it’s true. How many of us are just that one small adjustment away from success?
With our health.
In our business.
In our marriages.
In personal development.
In our ideas of wealth and true prosperity.
What do you think? Are you small one adjustment away from making your life work?
